Bellow we have information on each aspect involved in offering cosmetic dentistry.

Dental and Facial Aesthetics

A smile does not end with just beautiful teeth! Nor should a trip to your dentist.

Aesthetic dentistry, often known as cosmetic dentistry, is the term used to describe treatments which change the appearance of teeth.

Cosmetic dentistry covers a wide range of procedures from whitening to antiwrinkle treatments.

It is very important that whenever having cosmetic dentistry has to be “Responsible aesthetic” and “minimal invasive dentistry”. We strive to perform conservative treatment with high end cosmetic results.

With a very thorough and holistic approach, that includes not only teeth but also, lips, skin and smile.

Whitening

As the name suggests, treats stained or discoloured teeth. It is the simplest and most common cosmetic dental procedure done to date.

However, whitening will not change the colour of crowns, veneers and fillings.

Veneers

Veneers are thin, tooth-coloured porcelain or glass/plastic layers fixed onto the front of your teeth that can be a suitable option if you have teeth with gaps, that are stained, discoloured, broken or chipped, crowded-in or crooked, oddly-shaped or badly-aligned.

Crowns

When teeth are broken, decayed, abnormal shape or root treated, it’s possible that a crown commonly known as cap would be the treatment of choice.

Crowns are generally made from materials such as porcelain, and porcelain/metal combinations. Not only do they make your teeth look more attractive, but they also give them added strength, durability and stability.

Dental Implant

If you have missing teeth, implants are the ideal treatment to replace them. Not only you may improve your smile, but you may also enjoy a better quality of life, as eating and chewing will be a lot easier and more comfortable as oppose wearing dentures or having gaps in your mouth.

However not everyone is a suitable candidate for implants and we recommend a consultation with your dentist for an assessment of the most suitable option for replacing your teeth.

Teeth Straitening

There are multiple treatments to straighten teeth, from invisalign, clear correct, plates braces, your dentist or orthodontist (specialist) will line up your teeth within your jaw so you not only look better but may have more efficient use of the affected teeth.

Depending on the level of complexity it may be even necessary to have a corrective surgery.

Facial Aesthetics

Facial Aesthetics can significantly reduce some signs of aging.

Botox

The popular name “BOTOX” is a trade name for Botulinum Toxin Type A (BT-x A), which is a purified protein that is administered through the skin to work on the underlying muscles of the face. BT-xA relaxes the muscles contractions allowing the skin to become smooth and youthful again.

BT- xA is useful to treat “crow’s feet” around the eyes, horizontal forehead lines, frown line in between the eyes or elevens.

The lasting effect varies from one person to the next however on average it can last anywhere between 4 to 6 months.

Fillers

Fillers are done with Hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a   natural occurring substance found in our body which hydrates and provides volume to our skin, making the skin look fresh and youthful.

With age and the exposure to sun and other elements, our bodies produce less of this preserving ingredient, resulting in sagging of the face and unsightly facial lines and groves.

Using HA based gel, which is administered into the dermis of the skin, dentist can fill this lines, grooves and sunken areas, restoring youthful volume to the face and brightening the appearance.

HA dermal filler are temporary by nature, lasting anywhere between 6 -12 months before being absorbed by the body.

Dermal fillers give an immediate result and hence are ideal for lip augmentation, to correct asymmetries or provide fuller more defined lips, that would complement an outstanding cosmetic dentistry.

The ultimate goal of facial injectable treatments is for a patients friends and family to notice how great they look without ever knowing exactly what is different and has been done.
